Peace Montessori will be providing two summer camps in the month of June.  Camps are for children ages 3-6 and are held 9:00am-12:00pm daily at a cost of $140 per week.


June 15-19 Beginner Cooking
June 22-26 International Cooking and Cultures

Beginner Cooking:

• Students will cook or make a food item every day.
• Expansion of vocabulary:  students will learn cooking terms and how to use cooking utensils.
• Math concepts:  students will learn about measuring and the use of time when cooking.
• Social & Emotional:  students will learn how to take turns, share cooking responsibilities and cooperate with each other.

International Cooking and Cultures:

• Students will review/learn beginning cooking basics.
• Students will cook a featured international food from a different country each day.
• Students will learn about the cultures of each country including it's food, music, and art.
